Lotta Zeit was born in 1994 in Nuremberg. From 2012 to 2017 she completed a Fashion Foundation course and Tailoring Level 1 course at Newham College London, as well as B.A (Hons) Costume for Performance at London College of Fashion. During this time she designed a costume for the Lyric Theatre London. In 2017 she assisted at the Schaubühne Berlin. Her final major project was exhibited in at the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing as part of the ISTAN Costume Competition 2019. From 2018 to 2020 she worked as a permanent costume design assistant at the Berliner Ensemble. There she designed the costumes for the production »Fahrenheit 451« by Ray Bradbury directed by Alexander Simon. in 2020 she designed the costumes for the first staging of the Novel „M.“ (written by Marlene Stark and Anna Gien) at Schaubühne Berlin, which was directed by Sarah Kohm. Since 2020 works as a freelance costume designer for theatre and for films in the independent scene.
